From Our Home to Yours

When we rescue kittens and cats, we don't always know their back story, so we can't always predict how they'll respond to different situations. Most are so grateful to be safe that they become loving, playful, and everything you'd want in a cat.

But even the most loving, confident cats can get stressed at our adoption events. Frightened, they don't show well — they may hide in a litter box, or hiss, swat, growl, or otherwise act like a scared cat — and so they're often overlooked. This page is dedicated solely to those cats.

Once you've filled out our screening form and been pre-approved for adoption, our foster parents will schedule a meet-and-greet so you can see the cat of your choice in a home environment — where they feel safe and comfortable, and you can enjoy their true personality.
