Where the money goes
Candy’s Cats is volunteer-run. What the store makes goes into the same fund as every other donation, and that fund pays for exactly this:
Spays or neuters one cat
Vaccinates ten kittens
Combo test and microchip for one cat
Merchandise raises less per dollar spent than a straight donation does, because the shirt has to be printed and posted first. We think it is still worth having: a shirt starts conversations in places a donation page never reaches, and some of those conversations end with a cat going home.
